We are a local charity supporting women and families affected by domestic abuse. We are the only specialist provider of support in the District for Families recovering and surviving  Domestic Abuse.

LDWA understand how difficult it can be to recognise that domestic abuse is happening to you or your family and how difficult it can be to find help and support.

LDWA aim to empower and support you in identifying the choices and options available to you and your family.You are not alone... 1 in 4 women will experience some form of domestic violence in their lives.

LDWA recognise that partnership working is integral to supporting survivors of violent and abusive relationships. No one agency can tackle the complex and diverse issues faced by families experiencing domestic violence and abuse on their own. LDWA are specialists and deliver an effective and professional approach to tackling domestic abuse. LDWA work in partnership with many agencies and are key partners in District and Countywide developments.
